Around The World on Wednesday – Case a Team Member!

Welcome to the fourth monthly blog hop from the Around the World on Wednesday Design Team. My name is Cazz Boylan from sunny Queensland, Australia. Big LOVE to Angie Mckenzie for asking me to be a part of the amazing team. Our guest hoppers this month is my lovely friend Kylie Bertucci and her equally talented hubby Bruno Bertucci.

This months theme is CAS(e)ing A Team Member! I was delighted to be paired up with the incredibly talented Danielle Kassing who hails from the Netherlands! I really found it hard to choose which one of her beautiful cards to case! But this one just spoke to me, isn’t it gorgeous!

As you can see I loved Danielle’s layout and I decided to team it up with the equally beautiful Forever Fern Bundle, Brass Foil Sheets and my favourite Copper Embossing powder.

Card Details:

Card Base: Whisper White top folding landscape
Matt your card base with Brass Foil Sheet
Cut your card topper
Die Cut the largest circle – Stitched Dies
Mark with a pencil a circle guide on your card
Using Versamark stamp four leaves and 5 of the sprinkled dots stamp around your guide marks.
Cover with Copper Embossing Powder and heat until beautiful and glossy.
Die Cut your two leaves from your brushed Foil Sheets and adhere one on the bottom right of your card front.
Using dimensionals adhere your Stitched Circle
Adhere your second leaf Die Cut with Mini Glue Dots off centre of your Stitched Circle.
Stamp your sentiment on a 2.5cm x 8cm Whisper White Strip
Punch either end with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and adhere with dimensionals.
For finishing touches add your Gilded Gems TIP: Use your Take Your Pick tool to make it super easy to pick up and add your Gilded Gems to your card.

Around The World on Wednesday – Inspiration from the new Catalogue!

Welcome to the Third monthly blog hop from the Around the World on Wednesday Design Team. I am so excited to join this incredibly talented group of Stampin’Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world. This month we have the fabulous Cindy Schuster as our special guest!

This months theme is Inspiration from the NEW Annual Catalogue! This was a tough one for me as there are so many beautiful NEW products for me to chose from! I decided to follow my heart and picked the Jar of Bundle Flowers Bundle on page 12. The reason I was so drawn to it is that you could either chose to create quick and easy cards with some simple stamping or step it up by adding the punch and the gorgeous coordinating Shaker domes.

It wasn’t until I had finished my card that my hubby mentioned that it looked a little like our front porch colours so of course I had to take a photo!

I love how these beautiful flowers from the Jar of Flowers pop off the Whisper White card stock. I have stamped all of of the Mason Jar images first with Coastal Cabana across the page and stamped another jar on a seperate piece and punched it out using the Jar punch! I used my Stamparatus to line up the floral image and stamped again with Coastal Cabana. Add your waterline stamp to the punched out jar image.

Using my trusty Aqua Painter and my Water Colour pencils I have coloured in the floral images with Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight! Using my Stampin Blends I added Mint macaron to the petals and buds.

To compliment my card I have whipped up this quick little gift box. I have fussy cut layer upon layer of the beautiful Flowers For Every Season 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper. ( It is the prettiest of papers and matches this suite so beautifully!) I have tied it off with some of the Magenta Madness In Colour Ribbon.

Next up is my beautiful friend Cheryl Miller, I cant wait to see what her favourite from the new catalogue is!

Celebrating Stampin’Up! NEW In Colours!

I have fallen in LOVE with the beautiful NEW Stampin’Up! In Colours 2020-2022!

From Left to right – Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, my favourite so far Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness and last but not least Bumblebee!

As soon I received my Preorder, I wanted to create something that showcased all the beautiful INCOLOURS!

( PRE – ORDER = is an amazing perk of joining Stampin’Up! One of the key reasons for me signing up, as who wouldn’t want new products a month earlier then everyone else at a discounted price! I would love to answer any questions you may have of joining my team so you too can get your hands on these beautiful products early! )

I chose to create these gorgeous little desk top easel calendars to showcase all of the beautiful new colours!

I have teamed up the beautiful new In Colour Cardstock, matching Designer Series Paper and coordinating Ribbons with the beautiful Forever Flourishing Die to create these little Easel Cards! Aren’t they cute?

Here is a quick and easy video showing you how! Please Note It has been a long time in between creating videos so Ive accidentally cut some of the products used in the clip. However all products are listed below for you!!

To create these Easel Cards you will need –

In Colour Cardstock measuring 10.5cm x 29.6cm OR 11 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ ( for A4 users just cut in half so you can create two)

In Colour Designer Series Paper measuring 9.5cm x 9.5cm OR 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″.

In Colour ribbon – 25.5cm OR 10″

One mini calendar – Available online Or you may choose to add a half pack of Sticky Notes to the front.

One piece of coordinating cardstock to back the calendar or sticky notes.

INSTRUCTIONS

Using your Simply Scored Scoring Plate score on the long side at 1/2″, 1 7/8″, 3 1/4″ and 7 1/2″.

Fold and burnish using your Bone folder on each of your score lines. You will fold in and out in an accordion fashion to create the easel.

Using Tear and Tape, adhere your Easel base together. Adhere your Designer Series Paper to the front of your easel with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.

Run your Forever Flourishing Dies through your Die cutting machine. Using your Simply Snips cut the bottom three fronds from the die cut piece.

Adhere your calendar to your scrap piece of Cardstock and adhere to your easel front using Tombow Glue. Before its dry slip the bottom of the Die under each corner of the calendar. Add a few Glue Dots to the die and adhere to the Easel.

Tie your In Colour bow and adhere to the front of your easel with Glue Dots!

How super easy is that! I love quick and easy project that still packs that wow factor!

It is my all time favourite tool as it makes water colouring so satisfying and I adore how the results are always different!

I love how the delicate flowers from the Bloom and Grow Stamp set pop off the page on the Whisper White background. I have embossed the floral image twice with White embossing powder onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. Using my aqua painter I like to draw the Night of Navy ink and start at the centre of each petal, adding my colour and then wiping the excess from my nib to then colour in the rest of the petal. This gives a beautiful deeper colour towards the centre of each petal and then fading out to a much softer tone. Water colouring with the Aqua Painter adds beautiful light and dark intonation to any image.

I have water coloured the leaves using Old Olive ink closer to the stem and then using the Aqua Painter I have dragged Garden Green ink to the very tips to give them more depth. Once dried cut your images out with the Budding Blooms Dies. The sentiment You are simply Wonderful is stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut to size using your Trimmer. To complete the card I Embossed the centre panel with the Tufted 3D embossing folder and added Linen thread and some beautiful sequins.

It wouldn’t be a day in my craft room without using my Aqua Painter! What is your all time favourite colouring tool? I hope you will give my favourite tool a whirl.
