Stampin’Up! Annual & Holiday Catalogue Launch 2019!

Oh what fun we had on the weekend celebrating the launch of the Stampin’UP! Annual and Holiday Catalogue! Two catalogues meant twice the fun!

Each guest received this gorgeous little table gift consisting of the Mini Curvy Keepsake box, a water bottle decorated with the Perfectly Plaid Bundle and a cute Christmas cookie! In their goodie bag they received a 1/4 pack of the Bird Ballad DSP, an AquaPainter and a Stampin’Up! Dauber.

Congratulations to our major winners of the day Sharon, Michelle and Louise! Winning a BigShot for the lucky Door, The It Starts with Art Suite and extra goodies as the winner of the Scavenger Hunt and The Brightly Gleaming SUite for the Raffle!

Perfectly Plaid by Stampin’Up!

How Stinking cute is this Set!! As you know I love versatility in the products I purchase and the ability to create a few different looks with the same set.

Peaceful Boughs by Stampin’Up!

Deck your projects with pretty pine cones and beautiful boughs. The images in the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set are so realistic you can almost smell the fresh pine in the air!

Do you know that feeling you get when you create something that you love? For me its like an all over warm and fuzzy feeling….a bubble of happiness I suppose. Thats how I felt creating with the beautiful Suite!

Creating with traditional Christmas colours to stunning golds and muted bronzes you just cant go wrong!

Christmas is coming to Stampin’Up!

I don’t know about you but Christmas for me is the most magical time of year! I think it brings out the kindness in just about everyone and you really appreciate the time you spend with family and friends.

After thumbing through the new Holiday Catalogue I kept coming back to The Brightly Gleaming Suite which really surprised me as it was not my usual traditional Christmas colours.

When I saw the those stunning copper gold foil accents on almost every single page of the specialty DSP it made my heart sing!

As you can see I have fussy cut around the little baubles from the Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Paper with my Stampin’Up Snips and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals! Isn’t it pretty?

I have a very special friend who owns a confectionary store full of every single delicious treat you could possibly imagine! When she saw this suite she commissioned me to create a whole range for Cha Cha Chocolate. I can share a little sneak peek of one of the items she will be selling in her store!.

Rooted In Nature meets Woodland Texture!

Whilst scrolling the Stampin’Up Website I came across this absolutely stunning card created by Stampin’Up! Artisan Rochelle Blok and I just knew I had to try and recreate it or C.A.S.E in crafty terms! ( C.A.S.E – To Copy and selectively edit and always give credit to the creator) You will find her gorgeous card details here – Rochelle Blok

Here is my card which was inspired by Rochelle’s beautiful card!

To create the background of my card I have used the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder! I teamed it up the beautiful Rooted with Nature Stamp Set. I love how they compliment each other so perfectly.

I have used a Versamark refill and the Copper Embossing Powder to create random dots across the card front. Rochelle has used a different technique to create her spattered affect. I really wanted to try to splatter mine with a toothbrush but none of boys were willing to sacrifice theirs for my art! Haha!

I have been stalking my postie for days now for my latest Christmas order to arrive. I cant wait to use this embossing background with them! Don’t you just love when you can use something all year round? I know I do!

Good Morning Magnolia meets Faux Chalk Technique

I love when you see a technique that has lots of impact but not a lot of effort!

Lets keep it real as a busy mum of four boys, time generally gets away from me. So when I find something quick and easy I like to share it with you as we all love a quick and easy card right?

Let me introduce you to the beautiful Faux Chalk Technique. Its as easy as one, two, three.

First – Emboss any image of your choice using your Versamark and any of the gorgeous Embossing Powders Stampin’up! provides.

Two – Using your Whisper White Craft Ink and your trusty Aqua painter colour in the image. Squeeze a little water and drag your ink across your image.

Three – Let the image dry and see the magic happen!

How quick and easy was that! You can use this technique on any stamped image. Just be careful not to add to much water as you do not want your card stock to bubble.

Oh how I love the Bird Ballad Suite!

Today I woke up coughing a little less and feeling a little brighter …Hooray! It meant that all those crafty ideas swirling around in my head could finally be put into action!

Boy did I have fun!

I set myself a challenge to create one card and ended up creating four. Don’t you just love when your swept away on a crafting journey!

I have to let you in on a little secret though this product suite is so easy to create with and everything coordinates so beautifully!

This card was my favourite! I loved how the beautiful new coloured vellum made those precious little birds pop off the card. Isn’t that Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper just divine!

See that beautiful shimmer? Its created with Wink of Stella. It’s so simple to apply but it gives you such stunning results!

Other then the gorgeous sentiment from the Free as A bird Stamp Set this card is created solely by fussy cutting around those gorgeous little feathers on the Designer Series Paper! If you haven’t gotten your hands on Stampin’Up!s Snips as yet you are missing out! They make fussy cutting a dream!

Isn’t the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper beautiful? I have been so conflicted on which side of the paper I love the most! Its lucky that each pack has two sheets of each design!

Now this little lady took a little bit of extra time! I decided to fussy cut all those little flowers from the DSP and I love how it turned out! Ive teamed it up with the gorgeous new Nested Framelits. They are quickly becoming one of my favourite Dies to create with!

Don’t you just love that stitched detail created by the Nested Dies!
