As the mum of four sons you would think I would have loads upon loads of male orientated stamps but quite honestly I only have one! Shocking right!
So when I saw the beautiful Come Sail Away Suite at Onstage I knew I had to add it to my collection. For me there is nothing nicer then going to beach, breathing in that incredible mixture of sea air and sunscreen. Plus you cant beat the feeling of squishing the sand between your toes. If your ever travelling my way make sure you go to Woodgate Beach as its my favourite little getaway spot!
Just looking at the suite in the catalogue makes me feel more relaxed.
The thing I love most about this suite is that its perfect for anyone and any occasion! The sentiments are just gorgeous and are so meaningful! I love all of the beautiful designer series paper and all the embellishments WOW I had to have them all!
At Auckland Onstage I demonstrated how I used the beautiful ribbon die From the Arts & Crafts Dies to create and ocean scene! I decided to see if I could create a miniature version to compliment this suite! I love that I was able to use a die not for the purpose it was created for!
As you can see in this image I have run the Arts and Craft Die through my cutting machine and I am left with this beautiful wave off cut! This piece layered can create any beach front scene! You can also flip the waves either way just by turning your cardstock over and if you add some texture paint it adds even more dimension!
