This month the ATWOW crew were asked to choose one of three sketches to create a beautiful card for you!
I know it’s only October but its never to early to start creating your Christmas cards! Oh and not to put you in a panic but there is only 73 days till Christmas Day….Eeek!
When envisioning what you want your Christmas cards to look like, I think its wise to chose a design that is pleasing to the eye, simple to create and one that you will be happy to replicate in bulk. This gorgeous card ticks all those boxes!
To make a simple layout look fabulous it all comes down to beautiful Designer Series Paper! The Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper adds a stunning metallic and glimmer sheen to make any project sparkle and those beautiful rich tones of the festive colour palette are sure to bring seasonal cheer to anyone that receives one.
CRAFTING TIP You could adhere your 1 1/4 ” inch strips of DSP directly to the card front and it would still turn out beautifully but I decided to add an additional step to give some extra wow factor.
After adhering your strips of Specialty Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Seal I then used the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder to create this beautiful all over textured effect.
I chose to create this card with the fabulous Lights Aglow Suite as it makes me think of all the twinkling lights of the Christmas season. Its has everything you need for this and future Christmases.
This suite comes with Two Stamp sets, one packed full of festive sentiments and the other a stunning tree, snowflakes and christmas garland. Two sets of Dies add that polished look to any of your cards and projects and the beautiful Specialty Paper is my all time favourite to create with and I cant forget those darling embellishments.

QUICK TIP Something that most people forget when creating is to decorate your envelope. Whether you add piece of Designer Series Paper and cut off the excess like I have below or just add a little stamped image you will find it finishes off your christmas card or any card for that matter beautifully!
